“The Holy Spirit Reveals All Things”
1 Corinthians 2:9-10
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love him.
But to us God has revealed them through his Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.”
The apostle Paul here states a great spiritual truth that God’s blessings are not obtained by human reason, philosophy, or outward understanding alone, but are revealed by the Holy Spirit.
God has prepared “all things” for his people, but those things are revealed only through the Spirit.
What are “all things”?
“All things” are not just earthly blessings, but:
- The depth of salvation
- Heavenly wisdom
- God’s will
- Spiritual authority
- The hidden mystery
- The hope to come
- The life of holiness
- Service and calling
- The reality of God’s presence
All these are revealed by the Holy Spirit.
John 16:13
“When he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth.”
Ephesians 1:17-18
“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ… may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.”
The words of God are not understood by the human mind
1 Corinthians 2:14
“The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him.”
That is why many people read the Bible but do not understand the truth, because revelation is given only by the Holy Spirit.
Luke 24:45
“Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.”
Jesus opened the minds of the disciples.
The Holy Spirit still enlightens our minds today.
The Trinity—Is It a Mythical Belief?
Absolutely not!
The Trinity is not a “Mythical Character” but a Biblical expression of the divine nature of the living God.
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
Matthew 28:19
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
Here the three persons are clear:
- God the Father
- God the Son
- God the Holy Spirit
But God is one.
2 Corinthians 13:14
«“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.”»
God’s promises are not false
Numbers 23:19
«“God is not a man, that he should lie.”»
Hebrews 10:23
«“He who promised is faithful.”»
When we ask the Father, praying in the name of the Son, the Holy Spirit works.
John 14:16-17
«“I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper… the Spirit of truth.”»
Recognizing the Holy Spirit is the greatest need of today
Today, the church needs to recognize the Holy Spirit, not just religion.
Many people worship but do not receive guidance.
Many people pray but do not hear the voice of God.
The reason is that the fellowship with the Holy Spirit is weak.
What does the Holy Spirit do?
1. Convicts of sin
John 16:8
“When he comes, he will convict the world of sin and of righteousness and of judgment.”
The Holy Spirit awakens the conscience.
2. Teaches the truth
John 14:26
«“The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost… shall teach you all things.”»
3. Reveals heavenly things
Colossians 3:2
«“Set your minds on things that are above.”»
4. Reveals hidden things
Daniel 2:22
«“He reveals deep and hidden things.”»
Amos 3:7
«“Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets.”»
5. Helps in weakness
Romans 8:26
«“The Spirit also helps in our weakness.”»
6. Gives fellowship
Philippians 2:1
«“If there is any fellowship of the Spirit…”»
The Holy Spirit is not just a power but a A divine person with whom a relationship is established.
How is the revelation of God’s Word received?
1. Through thirst
Matthew 5:6
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness.”
2. Through prayer
Jeremiah 33:3
“Ask me… and I will show you great and mysterious things.”
3. Through obedience
John 7:17
“If anyone desires to do his will, he will know of the teaching.”
4. Through walking in the Spirit
Galatians 5:16
“Walk by the Spirit.”
“Seeking God with all your heart”
When a person seeks God with all his heart, the Holy Spirit reveals truths.
Jeremiah 29:13
“You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart.”
God does not want a superficial Christianity.
He wants people who spend time in His presence, delve into His Word, and listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
Conclusion
God has prepared great blessings for His people.
These blessings are understood not by human reason but by the revelation of the Holy Spirit.
Today, the need is not just for religious information but for:
- recognition of the Spirit
- the voice of God
- living faith
and divine revelation.
The Holy Spirit still:
- teaches
- guides
- saves from sin
- reveals hidden things
and draws us closer to God.
A Brief Spiritual Appeal
If you want the deep things of God to be revealed to you,
If you want the guidance of the Holy Spirit,
If you want to come out of dry religion and into living fellowship—
Then say to God today:
“O Lord!
Open my heart.
Fill me with Your Spirit.
Give me the revelation of Your Word.
Teach me to hear Your voice.
And teach me to walk in Your presence.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.”»
